Spartan is recalling certain model year 2005-2011 RMP 100 and 2008-2010 MMP 100 aerial vehicle apparatus. These vehicles are equipped with a single platform inclinometer that may provide an intermittent signal allowing the platform to be tilted more than below the horizontal plane.

RiskThe intermittent signal may allow the aerial platform to be tilted more than below the horizontal plane which could allow the platform to strike nearby objects or people increasing the risk of injury or property damage.

FixSpartan will notify the owners, and dealers will replace the single inclinometer with a dual inclinometer installed in a sealed enclosure, free of charge. The recall began on February 25, 2013. Owners may contact Spartan at 1-800-867-6478, Option 2.
