25V822000·ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:PUMP2025-11-28

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021 and 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The impeller shaft may be loose, causing the cooling pump to fail.

RiskA cooling pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixNova Bus will inspect and replace the pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 3, 2026.Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. 25V773000·SEAT BELTS:FRONT:ANCHORAGE2025-11-10

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The driver's seat belt may be pinched by the partition, preventing seat belt from retract properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

RiskA loose seat belt may not adequately restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

FixNova Bus will adjust the seat base plate, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2025. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2024 LFS buses. The wheelchair securement system may have been installed with the attachment points in the incorrect locations.

RiskIncorrectly located attachment points may prevent the securement system from adequately restraining the occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2023 LFS Artic and 2022-2024 LFS buses. The coolant sensor could send a false signal, causing the engine to shut down.

RiskAn unexpected engine shut down can increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, transferring passengers from the disabled bus can increase the risk of injury.

FixNova Bus will inspect and replace the coolant sensor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5668.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2010-2020 LFS Artic and 2012-2024 LFS vehicles. The driver's seat belt may not retract properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies."

RiskA seat belt that does not retract properly may result in a loose seat belt, which can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

FixNova Bus will install additional seat stoppers to the driver's rear partition, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 4, 2025. Nova's number for this recall is CR5635. This recall expands and replaces previous recall number 23V-350. Vehicles that were previously recalled under 23V-350 will need to have the new remedy completed.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2019-2024 LFS and 2019-2023 LFS Artic buses. The auxiliary heater module may allow contaminants to enter the electronic controller, which can cause an electrical short. Additionally, the auxiliary heater may fail, causing the defrosting system to not function properly.

RiskAn electrical short circuit can increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, a windshield defrosting system that does not function properly can decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

The auxiliary heater module may allow contaminants to enter the electronic controller, which can cause an electrical short. Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2023 LFS Artic and 2023-2024 LFS vehicles. The instrument panel may fail to display the speedometer or incorrectly display warning lights, due to defective firmware. In addition, the firmware may result in a loss of drive power.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays."

RiskAn instrument panel that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash. A loss of drive power also increases the risk of a crash.

FixNovas Bus will update the instrument panel firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 18, 2024. Owners may contact Nova customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova's number for this recall is CR5636.
