Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS transit buses. The telemetry control unit installed in parallel with the vehicle monitoring system may cause a data overload.

RiskAn overloaded control unit may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power and increasing the risk of a crash.

FixNova Bus will modify the connection configuration, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 29, 2026. 26V182000·SEAT BELTS:FRONT2026-03-24

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2016-2018, 2020, 2022-2023 LFS and 2019-2020 LFS Artic transit buses. The driver's seat belt tension-reliving device may fail to disengage without manual intervention. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

RiskFailure of the tension-reliving device may prevent the seat belt from properly restraining the driver, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

FixThe remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 23, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. 25V476000·STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM2025-07-22

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2020-2023 LFS transit buses. The electric power steering system may be missing a check valve, allowing hydraulic pressure to turn the steering wheel without the driver's input.

RiskA steering wheel that turns unintentionally increases the risk of a crash or injury.

25V368000·EXTERIOR LIGHTING:TURN SIGNAL2025-06-11

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. A digital display firmware error may cause the instrument panel indicator lights to remain solidly illuminated even when the turn signal are off. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

RiskA faulty indictor light, that cannot provide the driver with information about the status of the turn signals, increases the risk of a crash.

FixNova Bus will update the digital display firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 7, 2025. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5732.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS transit buses. The engine wiring harness may be the incorrect length, which can result in harness damage and a loss of drive power.

RiskA loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Nova Bus LFS transit buses. The high voltage batteries may have loose hardware that can fall inside the battery pack and create a short circuit.

RiskA short circuit increases the risk of a fire.

FixNova Bus will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 5, 2025. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5687.

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2024 LFS buses. The wheelchair securement system may have been installed with the attachment points in the incorrect locations.

RiskIncorrectly located attachment points may prevent the securement system from adequately restraining the occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

24V873000·ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM2024-11-19

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2023 LFS Artic and 2022-2024 LFS buses. The coolant sensor could send a false signal, causing the engine to shut down.

RiskAn unexpected engine shut down can increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, transferring passengers from the disabled bus can increase the risk of injury.

FixNova Bus will inspect and replace the coolant sensor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 20, 2025. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5668.
