McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Volterra ZSL side loader garbage trucks. A software error may cause the grabber fingers to move without input from the operator.

RiskGrabber fingers that unintentionally moves may strike a person or vehicle next to the truck, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

FixMcNeilus will update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 5, 2026. Owners may contact McNeilus customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Volterra side loader trucks. The intermediate side reflex reflectors may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

RiskMissing reflectors can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixMcNeilus will install the side reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 9, 2025. Owners may contact McNeilus Customer Service at 1-888-686-7278.

McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2020-2022 STD Mixer and Bridgemaster Mixer Trucks. The labels that provide instructions to the operator on the proper operation of the mixer's functions were not installed.

RiskThe operator may not be aware of the proper operation of the mixer's functions, increasing the risk of an injury.

FixMcNeilus will inspect and install any missing labels, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 18, 2022. Owners may contact McNeilus' customer service at 1-888-868-7278.
