2025 Mack Granite (GR)

Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Granite trucks equipped with LED headlights. The LED headlights may fail.

Risk Loss of headlight illumination can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will replace the LED headlights, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed December 17, 2025. Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

RiskAn improperly welded seat belt anchorage bracket can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

RiskAn electrical short can cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. An electrical short can also cause the cables to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

RiskSafety systems that depend on the ECU (Automatic Traction Control, ABS, Electronic Stability Control, Active Cruise Control, and Collison Mitigation System) may have diminished or lost functionality, increasing the risk of a crash.

The tires may not have been DOT tested and confirmed to be sufficient for the vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 119, "New Pneumatic Tires - Other Than Passenger Cars."

RiskInsufficient tires can fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
