25V705000·POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:GEAR POSITION INDICATION (PRNDL)2025-10-16

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2025 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery Sport, and 2026 Range Rover Evoque, and Jaguar F-Pace vehicles. Moisture may have entered the gear shift module (GSM) during assembly, which can cause the gear shift position indicator light to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."

RiskA gear shift position indicator that fails to illuminate can make it difficult to identify the correct transmission gear position, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will replace the GSM, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 2, 2025. Owners may contact Land Rover’s customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D054 and H566.
