2019 International CV

International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2020 CV vehicles. The brake pressure switch harness may not have protective material on the wires, causing a short circuit and reducing brake performance.

RiskReduced brake performance can extend stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will remove, add protective material, and reinstall the brake pressure switch harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 1, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25521. Vehicles in this recall that were previously repaired under 23V282 and 25V414 will need to have the new remedy completed. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs)involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning December 19, 2025.

Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2017-2023 International CV trucks. The brake pressure switch assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch's electrical components and cause an electrical short-circuit.

Maintainer Corporation of Iowa, Inc. (Maintainer) is recalling certain modified 2019-2020 International CV 515 and Chevrolet Silverado tow vehicles equipped with Allison 2700 series transmissions with Chelsea Power Take Offs (PTO). The PTOs were installed incorrectly and as a result, the attachment hardware may loosen over time.

RiskIf the PTO attachment hardware loosens it could cause a loss of transmission fluid which may result in the rear wheel locking up, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixMaintainer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the PTO and install a new attachment stud kit, free of charge. The recall began June 9, 2020. Owners may contact Maintainer customer service at 1-800-831-8588.
