25V380000·WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS2025-06-23

GEM WAEV LLC (GEM) is recalling certain 2022-2025 e2, e4, e6, and eLXD vehicles. The retaining fasteners between the ball joint and the hub strut may have been improperly tightened, which can result in ball joint separation from the wheel.

RiskBall joint separation can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will inspect and tighten the retaining fasteners or replace the ball joints as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 7, 2025. Owners may contact GEM customer service at 1-800-688-8680. This recall replaces NHTSA recall 24V971.

25V380000·SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:UPPER BALL JOINT2025-06-23

15V239000·STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS2015-04-22

Polaris Industries, Inc. (Polaris) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 GEM eLXD L09GVHA4X and L10GVHA4X hybrid electric vehicles manufactured November 25, 2008, to December 30, 2010. The affected vehicles have frame welds between the cab and cargo bed that may crack.

RiskIf the frame welds crack, the frame may fall and contact the pavement, stopping the vehicle suddenly and increasing the risk of a crash.

FixPolaris will notify owners, and dealers will repair the vehicles free of charge. The recall began May 28, 2015. Owners may contact Polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Polaris' recall number is L-15-01.
