Blue Bird Bus Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2019-2027 Vision and All American school buses. A loose 12-volt cable may disconnect, causing a loss of electrical systems.

RiskA loss of brake assist, drive power, steering assist, or instrument panel displays can increase the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will inspect, add a torque stripe, and properly tighten the 12-volt cable as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242.

Blue Bird Bus Company (Blue Bird) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Vision electric school buses equipped with hydraulic brakes. The system software may fail to detect and alert the driver to a loss of the secondary brake assist.

RiskDriving the bus without a functioning secondary brake assist increases the risk of a crash.

FixDealers will update the software and repair the wiring harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2025. Owners may contact Blue Bird customer service at 1-478-822-2242. Blue Bird's number for this recall is R25DL.
