12V483000·SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS2012-10-03

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 vehicles mounted on a Freightliner chassis. Due to improper installation, the air supply line of the front brakes is susceptible to kinking.

RiskOvertime, the front brake line could become kinked leading to a loss of front brake control, increasing the risk of crash.

FixAltec will notify owners, and will repair the vehicles, free of charge. The safety recall began on January 4, 2013. Owners may contact Altec Industries at 1-877-462-5832.
