What was wrong

Defect

Remote Vans is recalling certain 2025 Aegis and Oasis motorhomes. Optional equipment may cause the motorhome to exceed Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) when carrying the maximum number of occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims” and 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

Risk

An overloaded motorhome increases the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

Dealers will replace the extended range fuel tank with a standard fuel tank and remove the skid plates and expedition box on Aegis motorhomes and issue new OCCC labels, free of charge. For Oasis vehicles, dealers will replace the fuel tank and issue new OCCC labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 14, 2025. Owners may contact Remote Vans customer service at 1-513-201-7553.
