What was wrong
Defect
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2013 Coachmen Cross Country and 2023 Coachmen Sportscoach Motorhomes. The entry door latch may fail and not allow entry or exit.
Risk
The inability to enter or exit the vehicle in an emergency increases the risk of injury.
Manufacturer remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the door latch, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 7, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-8212. Forest River's number for this recall is 310-1603.
