What was wrong
Defect
Mando America Corporation (Mando) is recalling certain Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) modules. The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module may leak brake fluid and cause a short circuit.
Risk
An electrical short circuit increases the risk of an engine compartment fire while parked or driving.
Manufacturer remedy
The vehicle manufacturers have developed and will perform the remedy procedure. Owners may contact Mando customer service at 1-334-364-3600.
